About Me

Hi!!! I'm Gabrielle, and I've been working in the journalism field for seven years now. I have a B.A. in Journalism + Design & Global Studies with a minor in Race and Ethnicity from The New School in New York City, NY and pursued a M.A. in History and Civilization in '22-'23 from Universitè de Paris CITE in Paris, France.

There is no beat that I will not undertake. Internationally, i've researched and assisted on a documentary about favelas, sex workers, and Brazilian students trying to navigate living under President Bolsonaro's regime. I've also conducted scientific studies and wrote academic papers on biodiversity and natural resource conservation. In America, I wrote over 300+ articles for different publications on lifestyle, health + wellness, music, beauty, fashion, politics, etc. 

I've interviewed celebrities, musicians, activists, and special guests such as: Lizzo, Leyna Bloom, Samira Wiley, former VP of Public Affairs for Planned Parenthood Christina Chang, June Ambrose, and more.

My writing and interviews have appeared in major publications, including The New York Times, VICE, Nicki Swift, HelloBeautiful, MadameNoire, Global Grind, and Galore. Beyond digital and print media, I bring a global perspective to my work because I have researched, interviewed, written, and collaborated on international projects spanning Indonesia, Brazil, and France.
